Without heat, your treatment can only do so much to improve the quality of your hair. Typically, the cuticle is closed, so the treatment can only work on the surface of the hair shaft. Compared to heat-enhanced deep conditioning treatments, the results are minimal and superficial. Hot Head enables the hair cuticle to open for an extended period, allowing the treatment to penetrate the hair shaft, nourishing it from the inside out. I'm in love but it's snug!
The instructions are very clear and this product is so easy to use! I like this product because there's no loud fans and the lack of wires allow me to move freely without restraint. I guess my one negative would be that I guess I underestimated the amount of hair I have. I have thick natural coils that go just past my shoulders so this cap is a little snug on me. This Hot Head is soooooooooo great! I'm in love! OMG
I actually love my hair washing/styling days, but this has kicked it up to a whole different level. I followed the instructions that came with my Hot Head and it was absolutely what I expected and then some. It wasn't too hot on my head and it allowed for my hair mask to absorb deeply into my hair strands. I will not go a wash day without using this deep conditioning cap!
